[1] Greetings, with this blog I plan on bringing to attention and analyzing the narrative of Frederick Douglass, an American Slave. Frederick Augustus Washington Bailey, to reiterate (Bailey, p.17), was an American Slave: and, for a small portion of his life he was humbled and reduced to almost nothing. He later would redefine humanity for that period of time, and he would later contribute to the abolitionist movement with many speeches on liberty. His life story is considerably easy to relate to because, we all endure some humiliation; ultimately, for recognition and personal validation.
