Confucianism[]
By the way, does anyone happen to know, is Confucianism a religion or more of a philosophical lifestyle sort of thing? Homestarmy 19:30, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
- Confucius say, yes and no. Technically, it's a philosophy, but some forms of Confucianism borrow elements from various religions. See the Wikipedia article. Archola 05:23, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
"an organized group of belivers for a certain ideaology." Um, that's too broad. Was the Soviet Communist Party a religion? Yet they were an organized group of believers in Marxism-Lennonism. Were the Nazis a religion? Yet they were an organized group of believers in National Socialism. Is the US Republican party a religion? Yet they are an organized group of belivers in their own ideology. Ditto any political party. Outside of politics, there is the Bright movement, which is an organized group of believers in an entirely naturalistic worldview. We need to narrow the definition. Archola 05:37, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
