Rabbi Moshe ben Maimon, known as Maimonides and sometimes called Rambam,(March 30, 1135December 13, 1204) was a Jewish rabbi, in Spain and Egypt during the Middle Ages. Orthodox Jews consider his works and his views to be a cornerstone of Jewish philosophy.
