This is a list of God's laws.

The # indicates the order it is found in the Bible, the Source indicates where it is found, the text describes the law as it is told in the Bible, and then it is translated into modern words.

	Exodus 20:3	You shall have no other gods before me.	Only worship God.
	Exodus 20:4	You shall not make for yourselves an idol, nor any image of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.	Only worship God.
	Exodus 20:7	You shall not take the name of Yahweh your God in vain, for Yahweh will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.
	Exodus 20:8	Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
	Exodus 20:12	Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you.	Honor your father and your mother.
	Exodus 20:13	You shall not murder.	No killing.
	Exodus 20:14	You shall not commit adultery.	Do not cheat on your spouse; this includes lusting after someone who is not your spouse.
	Exodus 20:15	You shall not steal.	No stealing.
	Exodus 20:16	You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.	No lying.
	Exodus 20:17	You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.”
	Exodus 21:12-14	Anyone who strikes a man and kills him shall surely be put to death. However, if he does not do it intentionally, but God lets it happen, he is to flee to a place I will designate. But if a man schemes and kills another man deliberately, take him away from my altar and put him to death.	No killing; if it is unintentional, flee.	Death
	Exodus 21:15	Anyone who attacks his father or his mother must be put to death.	No attacking your parents	Death
	Exodus 21:16	Anyone who kidnaps another and either sells him or still has him when he is caught must be put to death.	No kidnapping.	Death

	Exodus 21:18-19	If men quarrel and one hits the other with a stone or with his fist and he does not die but is confined to bed, the one who struck the blow will not be held responsible if the other gets up and walks around outside with his staff; however, he must pay the injured man for the loss of his time and see that he is completely healed.
