The Diocese of Olympia was created in 1910 by being split from the Diocese of Oregon. The jurisdiction of the diocese includes all of Washington State west of the Cascade Mountains, including the cities of Seattle, Tacoma, and Vancouver. The diocesan cathedral is St. Mark's Cathedral, located in the scenic Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle. The diocese contains 102 congregations and approximately 33,000 Episcopalians.
The diocesan bishop is Rt. Rev. Vincent W. Warner. The bishop suffragan is Rt. Rev. Bavi Edna "Nedi" Rivera.
