Clement of Alexandria is one of the early Church Fathers. His Epistle was one of the first that was not included in the typical Cannon of Holy Scripture, probably due to the inclusion of a mythical bird, the Phoenix, given as an example of the resurrection.

The First Epistle of Clement to the Corinthians, is dated 68 AD or 97 AD, and can be found here: http://www.ccel.org/fathers2/ANF-01/anf01-05.htm#P171_20841

Clement's Epistle is mostly a rebuke of those who have lost faith in the resurrection.

One view is that the Epistle is a rebuke of those who have lost faith in the rapture, since the resurrection and rapture happen at the same time. This view is presented here: [1]
